Becki interviewed me! Read my answers to her very insightful questions....
1.A Catholic bishop recently said people of all faiths should call God 'Allah'news report What are your thoughts on this statement as a Christian woman who knows the difference....my answer: I believe that the Catholic Bishop is trying to please man (human)not God. In other words he is being a people pleaser.
Paul writes about this in the Bible.
Galatians 1:10 states... "Am I now trying to win human approval, or God's approval? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ."
About using the name Allah as the universal name of God. God (Jesus the one and only true living God) states what His name is many times throughout the Bible. Not once is Allah mentioned. The definition of Allah is "an Arabic word which means the One True God. Most Muslims in the West use Allah and God interchangeably." Which means that they believe their God is the one true God.The word Allah can not be used by Christians because we do not believe in their God(the God Muhammad taught about and what defines the Islamic faith) as the one true God. We believe Jesus as the one true God. We have to keep with God as Jesus because there are many that call themselves God even Satan! There are over 100 names that God (Jesus) calls himself. Not one is Allah. So obviously He does care what we call Him. Please visit Titles Of Jesus-God

I thought this was a beautiful prayer......
"If Jesus is your Savior, are you overcome with thankfulness for what God has done for you? Take a moment and praise Him using His various names. "Jesus, You are the Way, the Truth, and the Life. You are my Life, for without You my life would be worth nothing. You are my Savior and my King, the Lamb of God who atoned for my sin. You are the Alpha and Omega and You control the beginning and end of each circumstance in my life. You are the Bread of Life and I can feast on Your spiritual nourishment to keep me in perfect peace. You are my Lord and my God. In Your holy name, amen."
2.What is you fondest childhood memory?Traveling on road trips across the United States and camping. My parents were both teachers and had summers off so we traveled a lot during the summer. I have visited every state except Alaska. I think I learned more USA history on those road trips than I ever did in school and I remember what I learned!
3.If you were elected President of the United States, what would be
your first order of business? Well I am not running for president, you are but I would advise you to look at all the toxins in our environment, foods, clothing and toys and do something about it. I like the idea of A China boycott but we have to be careful to not totally piss them off because they own most of the worlds debt...Since you are the one who will be running for president I love how you summed it all up!

interesting idea. What inspired it? Sore nipples! Really, during the first few weeks of breastfeeding Tabitha I almost gave up. I tried every known nursing pillow out there including my bed pillows and all was not well! I called my best friend who happens to be an amazing designer and seamstress and cried on her shoulder. I told her what my needs were. I needed the pillow to conform and then hold the baby in position...Within a week she sent Me the Nesting Pillow. The rest is history!
